BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (BD) SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (BD) SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT MILITARY FRIENDLYPREFERRED - SKILLBRIDGE SPONSOR Zermount Inc. is seeking a motivated Solutions Architect to join our Corporate and Business Development (BD) team. This person will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions and will work mainly with our BD in efforts to respond to government cybersecurity as well as IT solicitations. This professional will also work closely with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand, develop and integrate Cyber and IT solutions. DutiesResponsibilities
- Communicate between different teams and SMEs to understand Cyber and IT methods then determine the best solution moving forward.
- Determine the best solution when responding to government solicitations and work with our BD team to respond to government proposals.
- Develop a plan for technological strategy architecture implementations.
- Execute risk assessments.
- Create and lead IT integration systems meeting the requirements of the organization.
- Conduct system architecture evaluation and collaboration with project management and IT development teams to improve IT architecture.
- Own the technical engagement pertaining to specific technical projects providing best practices to develop a deep expertise in solutioning.
- Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers and potential clients while working with our BD team.
- Assist our clients in designing and creating solutions that will solve tomorrow's problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with government contracting and solicitation responses.
- A good understanding of technology and technical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Driven, hardworking, and able to take direction and multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and effectively present to corporate leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized.
Education and certifications Bachelor preferable but professional experience is Permitted.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT field, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience or related experience is required.
A minimum of at least one of the following security certifications:
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Security+
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Other related certification
Work Location Remote; occasional onsite meetings at Zermount Corporate Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Hours of Operation
- Business Hours: 8:00 am EST - 6:00 pm EST.
