Job Details Job Details: Our client has an immediate need for an accounting consultant to join their team. Seeking a Contract Controller / Senior Accounting Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of complex financial projects, and is eager to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level financial expertise, managing the full close cycle accounting process, and overseeing internal controls. This role requires a keen understanding of the finance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full close cycle accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze capitalization tables, financial models, and monthly reporting.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Lead revenue recognition efforts, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Review contracts, identifying any potential financial risks or opportunities.
• Maintain and update financial records using Quickbooks Online, Salesforce, Bill.com, JustWorks, and Clockify.
• Collaborate with non-profit partners, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters, helping to drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of full close cycle accounting, audit, revenue recognition, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAAS background is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using financial software such as Quickbooks Online, Salesforce, Bill.com, JustWorks, and Clockify.
• Experience in contract review and capitalization table management.
• Proven ability to develop accurate financial models and deliver comprehensive monthly reports.
• Understanding of non-profit financial management or SAAS base companies are a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
