Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management & Conversion: Answer inbound calls from new and existing customers, assess their security needs, and guide them toward the most suitable alarm solution.
  • Outbound Follow‑Up: Conduct proactive outreach to qualified leads, nurture relationships, and convert prospects into satisfied customers.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as a brand ambassador for careerzynith, staying up‑to‑date on all product features, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate recommendations.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to overall company growth.
  • Upselling & Cross‑Selling: Identify opportunities to add complementary services (e.g., monitoring plans, smart home integrations) that enhance the customer experience.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Accurately log interactions, update customer records, and track sales pipelines using our CRM platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless hand‑offs and consistent service quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on call scripts, share best practices, and suggest enhancements to the customer journey.

Shift Options & Working Hours

Choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle. All options are remote, and you will be required to complete a two‑week training program (Monday‑Friday, 09:30‑16:30) before starting your regular shifts.

  • Option 1 – 17 hrs/week: Wednesday 14:30‑19:30, Friday 09:00‑15:00, Saturday 09:30‑15:30
  • Option 2 – 17 hrs/week: Monday 11:00‑19:30, Thursday 09:00‑14:00, Friday 09:00‑13:30
  • Option 3 – 15 hrs/week: Monday 17:00‑19:30, Tuesday 10:00‑15:30, Wednesday 11:30‑14:30, Thursday 15:30‑19:30

Compensation & Performance Rewards

  • £10,201.36 per annum (£11.54 per hour) for the 17‑hour schedule, plus a Performance‑Related Pay (PRP) bonus of up to 40 %.
  • £9,001.20 per annum (£11.54 per hour) for the 15‑hour schedule, plus a PRP bonus of up to 40 %.
  • Annual paid holiday entitlement of 31 days (rising to 33 days with length of service), pro‑rated for part‑time staff and inclusive of bank holidays you work.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in telephone‑based sales, preferably within a remote or home‑service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and trust over the phone.
  • High level of empathy and a genuine desire to help customers protect their homes.
  • Basic proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; prior experience with careerzynith’s CRM is a plus.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 5 Mbps upload / 15 Mbps download) and a suitable home office setup.
  • Self‑motivation, excellent time‑management, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Experience selling security, alarm, or smart‑home products.
  • Knowledge of UK home‑security regulations and best practices.
  • Previous remote‑work experience with a proven track record of productivity.
  • Certification or training in sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, or consultative selling).
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in languages commonly spoken in the UK.
