Dental Billing Specialist
Summary
We're hiring one experienced dental biller to run a book of offices end-to-end as a 1099 contractor, paid hourly. Strong performers can move to W-2 with benefits. The work You own the full revenue cycle for your offices. Insurance verification, claims submission and follow-up, payment posting, EOB reconciliation, AR work on 60+ and 90+. You handle phone calls with carriers and write appeals when claims get denied. How we work We use the latest tools and automation across the workflow. Your time goes to the calls, appeals, and judgment work that actually moves AR. Pay
- 1099: $25-35/hr, paid bi-weekly
Requirements
- 3+ years of remote dental billing across verification, claims, and posting.
- Working knowledge of at least two of Open Dental, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft. Oryx, Curve, or Denticon a plus.
- Comfortable on the phone with carriers and office staff.
- Reliable home setup: secure internet, dedicated workspace, modern computer.
Nice to have
- A track record of cleaning up aging AR or recovering stuck claims.
- Experience managing 5+ offices.
- Experience training newer billers.
