District Leader Advisory Board

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Inner Peak District and School Leader Advisory Board About Inner Peak: Inner Peak is a mental wellness platform built for K-12 schools. We help students, teachers, and counselors strengthen social-emotional skills, identify needs early, and build a sustainable culture of wellness. Our work fits within the MTSS framework and is designed to feel natural inside the rhythm of a typical school day. About the Advisory Board: We are recruiting a small group of district and school leaders to serve on the Inner Peak District and School Leader Advisory Board. Members shape the future of our platform by sharing the realities of leading wellness, SEL, and student services work in real districts and buildings, and by helping us build technology that actually fits how schools operate. This is a volunteer position with a light, predictable monthly commitment. The goal is not to add another initiative to your plate. The goal is to give you direct influence over a product designed to support your students, your staff, and your strategic priorities. Who we're looking for: We are recruiting leaders in any of the following roles:

  • Superintendents
  • Assistant superintendents
  • District administrators in student services, student wellness, SEL, MTSS, equity, or similar portfolios
  • Principals (middle school or high school)

Strong candidates will:

  • Care deeply about student mental wellness and the adults who support it
  • Have a point of view on what works (and what doesn’t) in school-based technology
  • Be willing to give direct, candid feedback
  • Be curious about how AI and digital tools can responsibly support educators and students
  • Bring perspective from any district size, geography, or student demographic

What you'll do: As an Advisory Board member, you will:

  • Review new features, prototypes, and content concepts and share candid feedback
  • Participate in short monthly virtual discussions with the Inner Peak product and leadership team
  • Respond to brief async surveys or questions between meetings
  • Help us understand how wellness, SEL, and MTSS show up at the system and building level
  • Surface board priorities, strategic plan themes, and budget realities that should shape our roadmap
  • Connect us with the educators, counselors, and student voices we should be learning from

Time commitment: One to three hours per month, total. Most months will include one virtual group conversation (45 to 60 minutes) plus brief async input. We respect leader time and keep meetings tight, focused, and useful. Term: One school year, with the option to renew. You can step away at any point if your circumstances change. What you'll get:

  • A free Inner Peak pilot for your school or district for the duration of your term
  • A direct line to the team building this product, with real influence on the roadmap
  • A peer community of forward-thinking district and school leaders focused on student wellness
  • Recognition as a founding member of the Inner Peak District and School Leader Advisory Board
  • Early access to research, frameworks, and benchmarking data we develop with the board

Questions? Reach out to Sean Wheelock at [email protected].

  • We review applications on a rolling basis.
