Engineer, UX

They are seeking a UX Engineer to support global development through user research, design, and collaboration with various teams to create user experience solutions for clinicians and patients.

Responsibilities

• Uncover actionable insights through user research, translating them into specific user needs and developing them into safe and differentiated solutions
• Communicate design intent through storyboards, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and visual builds from low-fidelity prototypes to final design assets
• Balance the needs of different collaborators within Baxter, including hardware and software engineering, marketing, clinical affairs, and quality
• Provide inputs to usability testing and customer research, and depending on experience, lead research or testing activities for defined aspects of a project
• Be a collaborative team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills

• Degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Human Factors, or Design Research
• Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, and related prototyping or visualization tools
• Experience with user research, interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing
• Able to express concepts through storyboards, workflows, prototypes, and visual design assets
• Comfortable balancing input from Engineering, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Quality
• Capable of generating and refining concepts that address user needs and constraints
• Experience applying AI tools to design or documentation workflows is a plus
