Enterprise Project Manager - Project Lead
Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager - Project Lead (10394) Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 2 days onsite/week) Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible) Interview Process: 1 Round - Phone Candidate Requirements (IMPORTANT - MUST FOLLOW)
- Must be a current resident of SC or NC
- OR willing to relocate to SC (at own expense) before start date
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and enterprise projects
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, IT, and vendors
- Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business objectives
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Produce weekly status reports and present updates in portfolio reviews
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong communication channels
- Oversee vendor/consultant deliverables and performance
- Maintain project documentation and PMO compliance standards
- Coach and guide junior PMs and team members on best practices
- Ensure effective use of project management tools (MS Project, Planner, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of Project Management experience
- 4+ years managing IT / technology-related projects
- Active PMP Certification (MANDATORY)
- Strong experience in:
- Project lifecycle management (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
- Risk management and change management
- Stakeholder communication and executive reporting
- Resource planning and budget management
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading cloud-based or cloud migration projects
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP - any)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
