4-month contract with potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance

8-5 for training, with flexibility between 7:00 am to 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
About the Role:
As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in supporting our business operations by providing administrative support and processing tasks such as data entry, scanning, mail sorting, and more. You'll work closely with our team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency in all aspects of data entry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform data entry tasks, including transcribing routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source documents and/or phone calls into an automated system
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data
- Perform clerical tasks in the data entry function
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and materials
- Perform document scanning and processing in the mail room
- Enter medical claims data into the Claims System via 10-key and alphanumeric data entry
- Screen medical claim forms for completeness of data
- Route claims to other areas depending on successful data entry or the need for additional information
- Adjudicate and suspend claims when appropriate
- Provide backup support to other team/group members in the performance of job duties as assigned (including mail room)
- Perform numeric filing and other clerical tasks
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills and experience with data entry software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in data entry or a related field
- Familiarity with medical claims processing and adjudication
- Experience with 10-key and alphanumeric data entry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Skills and Competencies:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
