Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Support Specialist to join our team, where you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers through phone calls, emails, chats, and SMS messages. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers, resolve complex issues, and contribute to the growth and success of careerzynith.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, chats, and SMS messages in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful solutions to customer issues, escalating complex problems to senior support specialists as needed
  • Utilize Zendesk to manage customer interactions, track issues, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical skills to provide expert support to customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first-call resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and average handle time
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer support, preferably in a higher education setting

  • Strong technical knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in Zendesk or similar customer support software
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with higher education products and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
