Fixed Asset Staff Accountant - Hybrid!

Vaco Phoenix is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant with Fixed Asset experience for a top client in Phoenix, AZ. This role will implement and enforce fixed asset accounting policies, prepare lifecycle-related journal entries, and complete monthly account reconciliations. This is a contract to hire position, that offers a hybrid work schedule and pays between $35-$38 per hour depending on experience. Job Duties Include: Record and manage asset lifecycle transactions, including CIP entry, coding, capitalization, and disposals. Collaborate with organizational leaders to track fixed asset projects and identify accounting impacts. Ensure accurate asset details (company code, location, description, etc.) with a strong focus on automation. Apply solid knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and practices. Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze, interpret, and update complex formulas. Work independently and collaboratively, maintaining composure under pressure and meeting deadlines, particularly during close and reporting cycles The ideal candidate for this position: Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills, and problem-solving skills.
