Grant Writer--Remote in Minnesota

• *Duties
• *Grant Writing & Development
• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and stories to support proposals.
• Ensure all grant materials align with funder guidelines and organizational goals.
• *Research & Prospecting
• Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
• Maintain a calendar of deadlines and assist in prioritizing opportunities based on alignment and deadlines.
• *Documentation & Reporting
• Track submitted proposals and reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing interim and final reports for funders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the grant management system.
• *Team Collaboration
• Participate in grant team meetings and strategy sessions.
• Support the Executive Director and senior grant writers with administrative and writing tasks.
• Coordinate with finance and program teams to gather necessary budget and program information.
• *Qualifications
• *Required
• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively.
• *Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit development.
• Familiarity with grant databases and CRM systems (Foundation Directory Online, instrumentl).

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience

• Grant Writing: 5 years (Required)
