Interpreter
Job Description:
- Handle calls on demand and render the meaning of conversations between Zyphe and English speakers.
- Break the communication barrier in industries served by LanguageLine Solutions.
- Process information quickly and recognizes sensitive cultural differences.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy during interpreting sessions.
- Follow client instructions in compliance with protocol to meet client expectations.
- Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and working in a diverse environment.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Zyphe and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics.
- Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences.
- Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills.
- Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and remain neutral.
- Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, translation, or interpretation preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
