Other duties as assigned. Assesses clinical workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary process changes, and develops future workflows for new solutions or functionality. Collaborates with departments, hospital leadership, end users, vendors, and associates to ensure effective and efficient operational system functions and workflow. Provides education on new applications or functionality, including train-the-trainer, Service Line Expert, upgrade, and other training as necessary. Shares application tips with clinicians to improve workflow efficiency and guide best practices. Assists customers with customization of the application for unique department scenarios using application tools within the electronic health record foundation. Monitors and analyzes aggregated data to identify trends related to clinical processes and outcomes resulting from information technology tools. Identifies and coordinates the management of risk and quality assurance issues, escalating unresolved problems to appropriate decision-making bodies.
