Key Responsibilities
Support the configuration and validation of EDI communication protocols such as SFTP, AS2, and FTPS while assisting with secure enterprise system integrations. Collaborate with senior analysts to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements, functional specifications, and integration-related processes. Assist in integration testing activities by validating transaction flows, reviewing data formats, troubleshooting issues, and supporting data mapping initiatives. Work closely with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to support enterprise integrations, process improvements, and documentation efforts. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of structured and semi-structured data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, or similar. Familiarity with technical environments including SQL, scripting basics, or UNIX/Linux fundamentals. Interest in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), enterprise integrations, and technical business analysis. Understanding of secure communication protocols such as SFTP, AS2, FTPS, or willingness to learn. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to follow structured processes, document requirements, and support validation activities. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies. Preferred Skills: Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, or logistics platforms including WMS/TMS solutions. Familiarity with EDI standards and transactions such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, 850 (PO), 856 (ASN), 204 (Load Tender), 214 (Shipment Status), or 810 (Invoice). Exposure to integration tools such as IBM ITX (WTX), WebSphere MQ, or integration brokers. Previous internship, academic project, or entry-level experience in IT, systems integration, business analysis, supply chain, or logistics environments.
