  • Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately transcribe legal audio and video recordings, including court hearings, depositions, and legal memos.
  • Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and format adherence.
  • Understand and apply legal terminology and procedures in transcription work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security for all sensitive legal materials.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and clients to clarify unclear portions of recordings when necessary.
  • Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in transcription work.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a transcriptionist, preferably in a legal setting.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent grammar and vocabulary.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting standards.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to interpret various accents and dialects.
  • Typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in transcription software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in transcription, preferably in a legal or professional setting.
  • Experience with remote work or freelancing is an added advantage.
  • Working Hours
  • Flexible working hours with the option to set your schedule based on client deadlines.
  • Availability to work part-time or full-time, depending on workload and project requirements.
