Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiological examinations from three New Jersey hospital facilities
- Provide accurate, timely radiology reports to support clinical decision-making and patient care
- Collaborate remotely with referring physicians, radiologic technologists, and healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, hospital protocols, and quality assurance standards
- Participate in peer review and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize PACS and RIS systems efficiently for teleradiology workflow management
- Ensure turnaround times meet or exceed contractual and clinical requirements
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey (or ability to obtain licensure expeditiously)
- Strong interpretive skills across all general diagnostic radiology modalities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with teleradiology platforms, PACS, and radiology information systems
- Commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic radiology services in a remote environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in any radiology subspecialty (Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, etc.)
- Previous teleradiology or remote reading experience
- Familiarity with multiple hospital EMR and radiology workflow systems
