[Remote] Analyst - Structural

They are seeking an Analyst - Structural to lead analyses critical to aerospace ground systems and ensure the safety and performance of mission-essential systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis to validate umbilical system performance, including disconnect timing, clearance, and load conditions during launch and abort scenarios
  • Perform structural and functional analysis of ground test fixtures, stands, and instrumentation hardware under specified loads and operational requirements
  • Develop and document engineering analysis for launch pad structures, mechanical systems, and integrated infrastructure to ensure compliance with operational, thermal, and launch environment standards
  • Coordinate with design and drafting teams to inform structural and rigging decisions, ensuring safe and effective transportation, handling, and tooling procedures

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering (or related field)
  • Demonstrated experience performing structural analysis (hand calculations and FEA) on aerospace, ground support, or mechanical systems
  • Proficiency with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, or equivalent software
  • Knowledge of structural analysis methods including static, dynamic, thermal, and load path analysis, with familiarity in rated loads, factors of safety, and standards
