[Remote] Associate Engineer

The Associate Engineer will build scalable software and application solutions for enterprise clients, implement engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, cutting-edge software and application solutions for enterprise clients
- Implement engineering best practices such as design review, continuous integration, and test-driven development
- Present technical proposals and solution strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting client engagement and relationship-building efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clients, architects, project managers, and sales to define technical requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure alignment across business and technology objectives
- Explore new technology platforms, coordinate project activities, and facilitate communication across teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 1 year of computer programming experience
- 1 year of experience with back-end development and open source technologies such as Jersey framework or Spring framework
- 1 year of experience with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL
- 1 year of experience with at least two of the following NoSQL DB technologies: Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB
- 1 year of experience with developing applications with cloud platforms AWS or Azure
- 1 year of experience with agile JIRA and DevOps tools Docker, Gradle, and Git
- 1 year of hands-on programming experience with web development in the following languages: Java, JavaScript (Node, Angular, or React), and Python
