Position Overview – Remote Customer Service Representative & Dispatcher

This hybrid role blends front‑line customer interaction with strategic dispatching of service technicians, ensuring that every service call is handled promptly, efficiently, and with a personal touch. You will work one day a week in our modern Chantilly office and the remaining four days from the comfort of your home, enjoying a balanced schedule that promotes both collaboration and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Answer inbound service calls with a courteous, solution‑focused demeanor, accurately capturing customer details and service needs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns quickly, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department while keeping the caller informed of progress.
  • Educate callers about careerzynith’s Membership benefits, highlighting value‑added services that turn first‑time callers into lifelong customers.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy, ensuring each interaction reflects careerzynith’s brand promise of reliability and care.

Dispatch Coordination & Schedule Optimization

  • Assign service technicians to jobs based on skill set, geographic proximity, and availability, maximizing productivity and minimizing travel time.
  • Continuously monitor technician schedules throughout the day, making real‑time adjustments to accommodate emergency calls, cancellations, or new service requests.
  • Utilize careerzynith’s dispatch software to track job status, update estimates, and communicate changes to both technicians and customers.
  • Proactively fill gaps in the daily schedule by making outbound calls to potential customers, ensuring a full workload for the service team and supporting revenue goals.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with field technicians, sales representatives, and the back‑office support team to share information, resolve bottlenecks, and improve overall service flow.
  • Participate in weekly team huddles (both in‑office and virtual) to discuss performance metrics, share best practices, and align on upcoming initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for process enhancements, technology upgrades, and customer experience improvements that drive efficiency and satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1‑2 years experience in a call‑center or customer‑service environment, preferably within the HVAC, plumbing, or home‑services industry.
  • Proficient typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with high accuracy.
