[Remote] Data Scientist (MMM)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FocusKPI, Inc. is a data science and technology firm specializing in predictive analytics. They are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead advanced predictive modeling and analytics, enhance existing measurement solutions, and deliver high-quality products for various businesses.
Responsibilities
- Support clients' modeling needs, including maintenance, enhancement of existing measurement and targeting solutions, and timely, high-quality delivery
- Developing innovative and automated solutions for custom needs, leveraging appropriate AI/ML/statistical tools
- Mine large consumer datasets in the cloud environment to support ad hoc business and statistical analysis
- Provide analytical/statistical support for marketing test design, campaign measurement, and market insights to clients and stakeholders
- Communicate methodologies and results to management, clients, and other non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- An advanced degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/ Economics, or related fields, requires advanced training in data modeling and analytics
- Ph.D. degree in statistics/mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related field
- Deep understanding and solid knowledge of the fundamentals of statistical reasoning and ML models
- Experience with causal inference, marketing mix models (MMM), and multi-touch attribution models is highly valued and mandatory to have
- Skilled in conceptualizing complex business problems and designing practical, effective modeling and analytical solutions to address them
- Proficiency in common programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Experienced and comfortable working with standard big data tools, including cloud platforms, database technologies, and parallel processing frameworks
- Entrepreneurial, highly self-motivated, collaborative, keen attention to detail, willing and capable to learn quickly, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment
- Great communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- An added advantage is familiarity with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and generative AI
