[Remote] Director/MD Senior Housing & Care Finance Practice

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ziegler is a privately held investment bank specializing in senior living, healthcare, and education sectors. They are seeking a well-established Managing Director/Director for their Senior Housing and Care Finance Practice who will be responsible for driving new client business development and managing resources effectively while building relationships with senior housing and care organizations.

Responsibilities

• Driving new client business development in areas of his or her expertise and within the geographic area as well as providing leverage for other members of the team. Successful senior investment bankers at Ziegler target a minimum of $2-4+ million in annual revenues
• Managing resources efficiently and effectively to adjust to changes in the marketplace
• Acting as the business’ advocate for both clients and the Ziegler SHCFP Team
• Building bridges with the other businesses at Ziegler, since greater scale of coordinated business yields greater bottom-line margins
• Enhancing a strong, positive image and reputation; Honesty, Integrity and credibility are key to Ziegler, the SHCFP and each individual team member and client
• Determining the appropriate fee arrangements
• Establishing clear definitions of target clients
• Establishing meaningful, measurable goals and milestones for his or her sector coverage; ensuring that the organization meets its objectives
• Possessing an understanding of the firm’s competition in its respective areas of expertise and being able to communicate the Ziegler Value Proposition to clients
• Having an outstanding personal brand in senior housing and care, a person who will both intuitively serve clients in an extraordinary way and provide creative, flexible financing solutions to clients

Skills

• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking or similar corporate roles
• Proven leadership skills with the highest standards of character and integrity
• Demonstrated access to clients and leaders in the healthcare sector
• Ability to communicate confidently in both written and oral presentations
• Undergraduate degree from a well-regarded institution
• Solid reputation as a 'get it done' business-focused executive
• Ability to execute aggressively against strategy and focus on delivery of specific business and performance objectives
• Excellent consultative, collaborative, and influencing communication skills
• Ability to set clear and deliverable goals
• Solid analytical skills with a disciplined and knowledge-based approach to decision making
• Ability to gain respect quickly and work well within the Ziegler culture
• Energetic with the fortitude and stamina necessary to lead an organization through growth
• High personal standards of ethics and integrity
• Ability to quickly win the respect of others by sound knowledge and good judgment
• MBA degree or CPA designation
• Series 79 and/or 24 designations
