Remote Hospitality Operations Director

Our client, a rapidly growing hospitality group known for its innovative guest experiences, is seeking a strategic and experienced Hospitality Operations Director to lead their operations in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves overseeing the strategic direction and operational efficiency of multiple properties, ensuring consistent high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. You will leverage your extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills to drive operational excellence, implement best practices, and foster a culture of exceptional service delivery across the organization. As a remote leader, you will empower on-site teams and drive success through effective communication and strategic oversight. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies to enhance guest experience, service quality, and profitability across all managed properties. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Manage P&L statements for assigned properties, analyzing financial performance, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth. Lead, motivate, and develop on-site management teams, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational excellence and monitor performance, implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and revenue management teams to align operational strategies with business objectives. Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure staff competency and service excellence. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular operational reviews and site visits (as needed) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovative technologies in hospitality management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations management, with a strong track record in leadership roles. Proven experience managing multiple hotel properties or a large single property with diverse F&B and event operations. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, P&L analysis, and cost control. Strong understanding of all aspects of hotel operations, including F&B, front office, housekeeping, and sales. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage remote teams. Proficiency in hotel management software and operational reporting tools. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
