[Remote] Mobile Engineer

The Mobile Engineer will design and develop native iOS and Android applications, contribute to open-source projects, and collaborate with various engineering teams to enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and build polished features for the v0 mobile app
- Architect and build the Vercel iOS and Android apps
- Create delightful, full-stack AI experiences across different codebases
- Contribute to new and existing open source React Native libraries
- Collaborate with the Vercel Mobile team, the v0 team, and other engineering teams to deliver exceptional experiences across multiple product surfaces
Skills
- Possess 6+ years of experience in native development
- Skilled in React and React Native, with a proven track record developing high performance apps
- Excellent eye for design, animations, and interactions
- Familiarity with Expo, Reanimated, Nitro Modules, and the broader React Native ecosystem
- Actively maintaining or contributing to open source React Native libraries
- Experience with native modules is a bonus
- Demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality code, with particular emphasis on polish, performance, and scalability
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, especially when collaborating with diverse teams
