This is a great opportunity for aspiring broadcasters to get their feet wet or for experienced people to continue to spread their voice. While this is more of an internship/voluntary position, so please ignore the $15/hour, as it is required to put in a wage for posting, and it would be... per week or per podcast if/when compensation is started. After those 3 months- if shows, articles, etc are turned in on the day/time we agree on, that's when the compensation can be discussed. But please know, we are currently in talk with multiple money-generated ads and sponsors. We have helped numerous talent use their newly-acquired skills to get them to a bigger stage! Please keep in mid that we are not big and fancy so there is no paperwork to be signed. Positions that have compensation: Writer: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA, the upcoming summer Olympics, NCAA football, NCAA M&W basketball, Golf, Soccer, Pickleball, UFC/Wrestling, Entertainment (show/movie reviews, gaming, etc.), Lifestyle (top Xmas gifts, stores to get best gifts, food hotspots, etc.) Specific Weekly Podcast: We need sport-specific podcasts (i.e. NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.) to come out once a week. We are also looking for a weekly summer Olympic pod when that gets going. These are all pre-named (unless you have a more clever one) for example 'Gridiron Intel' for the NFL weekly podcast. These shows will recap the past week/preview the upcoming week in all these sports. Also, because betting is so popular, this aspect must be included as well. As well as fantasy implications. Video is not required but preferred. You will have access to our StreamYard account if you do want to do video. We will also need a weekly host/cohost to talk about the new Walking Dead series, House of Dragons and possibly another season of the Halo series, and possibly more shows- video games, movie reviews, etc. Again, for response time, please email [email protected]. Thank you! • If you are currently a student at the Colorado Media School, we can give you internship hours!* Responsibilities: Podcast Host: • Your pod will drop on the day you pick. While we are based in Denver, the sports teams here does not have to be your topic, or even sports in general. We have ran various entertainment and lifestyle type shows. The topic, length and name are all your choice! • While the video aspect of podcasts have become more popular, it is not required. Audio, is however. We will need your recording to post on our site and social media platforms. • Your show can be live or recorded. We use StreamYard for live-streaming and recording video. Just make sure, as stated in the opening paragraph, that if you choose to pre-record, we have your show sent to us so it can be posted on the day you want it to drop. Writer: • Ideally, we would like pieces put out on all 4 major sports (NBA, NFL, MLB & NHL), a college sports writer, soccer, racing, fighting & golf. And if you have any other area we missed, that too! Also, any entertainment & lifestyle pieces as well. I.E. a movie or show review, travel reviews, top-10's, etc. *If you are local to Colorado/follow Denver sports closely, we would like that person(s) to write about each team. • Again, as stated above, pieces should be sent in near-after the game, event, etc that you are writing about. Website Maintenance: • Just someone to keep the site (currently under construction) fresh and clean. Help post the audio and video podcasts, help post the articles and so on. Plus any other tweaks and nuances that you think would be more user-friendly. • Also someone who can navigate Wix.com, the platform we use for the site. Social Media: • Looking for someone to help post breaking news (trades, free agent signings, firings, etc), series recaps (end of an NBA playoff series, etc). When someone has a new article out- putting up a short excerpt from that piece or blog drop. Also when a new podcast is out, a preview of that or a pod drop.
