[Remote] Program Manager-Microsoft Services Consulting

They are seeking a strategic and client-focused Program Manager to lead high-impact consulting engagements and cultivate long-term client relationships while ensuring that client objectives are met and opportunities for growth are identified.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategic advisor to clients, aligning consulting solutions with business goals
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of consulting projects across multiple industries
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partner throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Drive business development by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Facilitate executive-level communications and stakeholder reporting
- Oversee financial performance of engagements, including billing, and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery standards and client satisfaction
- Support strategic transformation initiatives for clients
- Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, templates, and best practices
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in strategic consulting and program management within an enterprise client-facing role
- Proven track record managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and executive audiences
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall)
- Solid technical foundation, including experience with Microsoft technologies and cloud-based solutions
- Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and milestone-based funding
- Demonstrated strength in client engagement management, including expectation setting, executive communication, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences at all organizational levels
- Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable plans and insights
- Confident decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent engagements
- Collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Microsoft Project
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification, or equivalent project management education preferred
- Prior experience delivering Microsoft Cloud projects or working with Microsoft funding programs is a plus
