The role involves designing, building, and testing features across backend and frontend systems, with a focus on microservices and event-driven architecture.

- Take part in design discussions, implementation, code review, and testing
Skills
- Healthcare and LIMS background
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js engineering
- Microservices design experience
- Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
- PostgreSQL database schema design
- AWS or equivalent cloud experience with Kubernetes
- Unit test frameworks such as jest and vitest
- Playwright or equivalent end-to-end testing experience
- Test design as a discipline
- Engineering quality as a habit
- Strong written communication
- Systems thinking across boundaries
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Specific experience with Confluent
- Experience in healthcare, LIMS, or any FDA-regulated software environment
- Direct experience with Confluent, Redox, or EHR integration work
- Familiarity with requirements management tools like Jama
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.)
