REMOTE: Sr. Legal Secretary [CA experience required]
Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with a sophisticated boutique plaintiff employment firm in search of a high-level Legal Assistant for a fully remote contract opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to support a respected, high-touch plaintiff employment practice that is known for its thoughtful, meticulous approach to litigation. The firm is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with strong California experience who takes pride in producing accurate work, staying ahead of deadlines, and providing elevated support in a refined boutique environment. This role is best suited for someone who values quality over volume, works carefully and proactively, and is comfortable handling substantive litigation support with a high level of professionalism and precision. Key Responsibilities + Handle California state court e-filing accurately and efficiently + Maintain meticulous litigation calendaring and monitor critical deadlines + Provide thoughtful, organized case management support throughout the life of each matter + Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents from templates + Maintain well-organized case files and documentation within Smokeball + Partner closely with attorneys to ensure matters are progressing smoothly and all filings and documents meet the firm's high standards + Provide polished litigation and administrative support in a detail-driven remote environment Requirements Qualifications + Prior experience as a Legal Assistant supporting litigation matters + Required: California legal experience + Required: Experience e-filing in California state court + Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills + Experience with calendaring and case management + Plaintiff employment experience is a plus + Experience with Smokeball is a plus + Ability to work independently while maintaining a highly responsive, high-touch level of support Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
