[Remote] Systems Administrator (H)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SSM Health is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain secure and optimized IT infrastructure. The role involves supporting core infrastructure, leveraging the M365 suite, and contributing to backend administration while ensuring business continuity and data security.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and works support queue
- Conducts hardware and software deployment, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery
- Performs a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, security and repair of hardware and software
- Performs infrastructure and application documentation
- Reviews systems and practices to ensure compliance with procedures and standards
- Provides technical support for problems and changes
- Mentors and trains others on team
- Manages complex infrastructure projects
- Remains current in technical area or discipline via annual technical training and/or technical certifications
- Resolves and reports on issues
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
- Three years' experience within area of discipline
- Strong process discipline
- Ability to create clear documentation and follow established workflows
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow or structured ticket management
- Adaptable and technically curious
- Eager to support a broad range of IT initiatives
- Exposure to Azure, Active Directory, security tools, and Intune
