[Remote] Virtual Administrative Assistant

Mercer County Works is seeking a Virtual Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation of the office. The role involves managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and handling sensitive information, while allowing for flexible remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Perform data entry, maintain databases, and update records
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for staff
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Proven experience as a virtual assistant or relevant role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with project coordination is a plus
  • Familiarity with phone systems is a plus
