ServiceNow Developer
ServiceNow Developer - CMDB Role Overview Responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting CMDB-related functionalities, ensuring adherence to best practices and governance models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure: o ITSM Application o CI classes, relationships, attributes o Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies
- Support CMDB data population: o Integrations (REST/SOAP) o Import Sets & Transform Maps
- Assist in configuring: o Discovery and Service Mapping (basic support)
- Implement data validation & reconciliation logic
- Debug issues related to: o Data inconsistency o Relationship errors
- Support reporting and dashboards
- Participate in code reviews and deployment activities Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years ServiceNow development experience
- Strong knowledge of: o Glide scripting (GlideRecord, APIs) o CMDB schema & relationships
- Hands-on experience with: o Transform Maps o Scheduled Jobs
- Understanding of ITIL processes Good to Have
- Exposure to: o Discovery patterns o IntegrationHub
- CSA / CAD certification preferred
