MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB We are seeking a freelance SEO Specialist to join and support our SEO team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our SEO efforts by conducting keyword research, utilizing keyword planners, and optimizing content, among other responsibilities. MAIN DUTIES The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership for this role: - Keyword Research - Keyword Planner - Metadata Optimisation - Content Optimisation - On-Page Optimisation - Keyword Translation from English to Slovak and Slovak to English - Data Handling and Management - SEO Copywriting REQUIREMENTS Education Level Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in SEO. Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for SEO, with basic skills in writing and reading code. In-depth understanding of best practices for various search engines, including Google, Bing, Baidu, and others. Proven ability to deliver successful results through SEO initiatives. Extensive knowledge and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, and WebTrends. Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Expertise in using third-party SEO analysis tools, including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, and similar platforms. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines consistently. Strong understanding of how other online and offline marketing channels—such as display ads, affiliates, social media, print, TV, and email—interact with and influence SEO.
