SQL / Power BI Developer/Remote
Job Title SQL / Power BI Developer Location-Remote Job Summary We are looking for a skilled SQL and Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The candidate will work with large datasets, create dashboards and reports, optimize SQL queries, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Create data models and implement ETL processes for reporting needs.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver insights.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of KPI reporting and dashboard design best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure, SSIS, SSRS, or cloud-based BI tools is an advantage. Tools & Technologies
