The Role

As a Temporary Customer Service Advisor at careerzynith, you'll be part of a team that helps customers across various contact channels, including email, live chat, social media, and phone. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Take inbound contacts from customers who need your help, providing solutions to their queries and concerns
  • Make outbound calls and send emails to update customers on stock and delivery issues, ensuring they feel informed and supported
  • Utilize our business systems to make changes to orders, investigate customer issues, and communicate with 3rd party suppliers
  • Listen to customers and suggest improvements to our business, helping us to continuously improve our services
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain our reputation for excellence and deliver exceptional customer experiences

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in email-based customer service, preferably in an ecommerce environment
  • A strong work ethic and excellent timekeeping skills
  • Enthusiasm and an optimistic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Your own laptop/computer, internet connection, and mitigation against network downtime and load shedding

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in an ecommerce environment
  • Knowledge of our business systems and processes
  • Familiarity with 3rd party suppliers and their systems
