We are a company that answers phone calls for many types of businesses, including many veterinary clinics. We work as their remote office administrators. Duties
- Greet clients warmly on incoming calls, creating a positive first impression for pet owners and visitors.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently across multiple veterinary practices, ensuring optimal time slots for consultations, treatments, and procedures.
- Handle medical billing and collections with accuracy and professionalism, explaining charges clearly to pet owners.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries about pet health concerns, appointment availability, or clinic services.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, medical histories, and service requests with precision.
- Coordinate communication between veterinary staff and clients regarding test results, treatment plans, or follow-up care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and pet care best practices.
- Experience with medical collections processes and laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry and critical care procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to explain veterinary procedures clearly and empathetically to clients.
- Proficiency in managing multiple client accounts while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Knowledge of pet grooming, animal behavior management, equine experience, or kennel work enhances your ability to serve diverse client needs effectively.
