Job Title: Americas Controller – Global Analytics & Consolidations (Market Research Industry) Location: Remote, U.S. Reports To: Finance Director International Department: Finance As the Americas Controller, you will lead financial operations across North and South America as well as lead Global Consolidations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving global analytics, and managing consolidations across multiple business units and geographies. You will partner closely with regional and global teams to support data-driven decision-making and ensure financial integrity in a fast-paced, insights-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Regional Controllership:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all Americas entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training and mentorship.
  • Ensure account reconciliations, journal entries and variance analyses are completed accurately and timely.
  • Lead external audit processes, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors.
  • Streamline month-end close procedures to improve accuracy and reduce cycle time.
  • Partner closely with the FP&A team to support variance analysis, providing accounting insight and timely responses to queries.
  • Provide accounting guidance to business partners on accounting policies and related interpretations.

Global Consolidations:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual global consolidation process for all subsidiaries and entities.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation adjustments.
  • Partner with regional accounting teams and global shared services teams to ensure timely submission of subsidiary financial statements.
  • Prepare management, debt and board-level financial reporting packages on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Contribute to system implementations, upgrades and integrations related to global processes to be consistent across the globe.
  • Act as a strategic partner to global and regional business leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in controllership, consolidations, and financial analytics, ideally within professional services or market research.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Experience with global ERP and consolidation platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a global, multi-entity environment with complex structures.

The base salary range for this position in is $130K-$150K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status. #LI-Remote
