This role focuses on analyzing market volatility, managing risk exposure, and supporting trading strategies across cryptocurrency markets. You will evaluate price dynamics, derivatives markets, and portfolio risk to provide actionable insights that enhance trading performance and capital preservation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of volatility, derivatives, and risk management, and is comfortable operating in fast-moving, 24/7 crypto markets.Responsibilities

  • Analyze volatility across cryptocurrency markets, including realized and implied volatility.
  • Monitor derivatives markets (perpetuals, futures, options) to assess risk and positioning.
  • Evaluate portfolio risk, exposure, and drawdown scenarios.
  • reputed company and apply risk management frameworks, including position sizing and hedging strategies.
  • Track funding rates, open interest, and liquidity conditions across exchanges.
  • Identify market stress signals, liquidation risks, and volatility-driven opportunities.
  • Support trading teams with risk-adjusted insights and strategy recommendations.
  • Produce reports on market risk, volatility trends, and portfolio performance.
  • Stay updated on macroeconomic developments and their impact on crypto volatility.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cryptocurrency markets and derivatives trading.
  • Solid understanding of volatility, risk management, and market structure.
  • Experience analyzing or trading crypto derivatives is preferred.
  • Familiarity with key metrics such as implied volatility, funding rates, and open interest.
  • Ability to interpret reputed company data and assess risk in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Attention to detail and disciplined approach to risk management.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with options markets and volatility modeling.
  • Familiarity with quantitative tools (Python, reputed company, or similar).
  • Understanding of portfolio construction and hedging strategies.
  • Background in finance, mathematics, statistics, or a reputed company field.

Compensation
