Developer / Programmer Analyst III (Oracle SQL & Jasper Reports) Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Candidates Only) Job Type: Contract (12+ Months) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Developer / Programmer Analyst III with strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Jasper Reports to support enterprise application development and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience developing database solutions, creating complex reports, participating in Agile software development, and supporting applications throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Jasper Reports.
• Create and optimize stored procedures, functions, packages, and other database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Provide technical recommendations and project updates.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing Stored Procedures and database programming.
• 8+ years of experience with Jasper Reports.
• 8+ years of Unit Testing experience.
• 8+ years working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JIRA and Bitbucket.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting applications.
• Experience in public sector or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices.
