The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding through well-crafted grant proposals and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Proposal Development Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for Electrical Engineering applications.
- Technical Writing Translate complex technical concepts related to Electrical Engineering into clear, compelling narratives for grant applications.
- Collaboration Work closely with clients and project managers to gather necessary technical information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals.
- Write Proposal Packages Write the project narrative, budget justification, biosketches and other peripherals required for the submission based on the requirements of the solicitation.
Qualifications
- Education Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical grant writing, with a focus on Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Expertise Strong understanding of Electrical Engineeringand its applications in research.
- Writing Skills Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Research Skills Proficient in conducting funding research and identifying suitable grant opportunities.
- Communication Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with grant management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Electrical Engineering field.
