Position: Laboratory Assistant (Remote/Part-Time/Temporary) - Cell Biology Scheduled Hours: 20 Position Summary: Computational work and training-focused, using existing cryo-EM/cryo-ET datasets.

Responsibilities

• Cryo-ET data organization, tomogram inspection, membrane/vesicle annotation, particle picking, and basic analysis of Flotillin-positive vesicle morphology to understand how Flotillin organizes membrane microdomains and shapes membrane curvature.
• Cryo-EM single-particle/helical reconstruction workflows, including micrograph inspection, particle picking, 2D classification, and comparison of fibril morphologies to characterize amyloid fibril structure and heterogeneity in disease-relevant brain samples.
• General duties may be revised or amended by management at any time.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

• No specific certifications, professional licenses, or work experience required.
• Driver's license not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• File organization, project organization, and general data organization skills.
