Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and evolve careerzynith’s enterprise‑wide data products and data warehouses, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.
  • ETL Development: Build, maintain, and optimize complex ETL pipelines in large‑scale data environments (cloud, on‑premises, hybrid) using industry‑standard tools.
  • Technology Stack Management: Leverage Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, and streaming technologies; write production‑grade code in Python, Scala, and Java.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Data Product Owners, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain meticulous documentation of data flows, schema changes, and pipeline configurations to support data quality and governance initiatives.
  • Performance Tuning: Ensure high functional performance and reliability of data solutions to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internal analytics and external client services.
  • Agile Participation: Actively contribute to Scrum ceremonies, champion continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers in agile best practices.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging data technologies and propose strategic enhancements that keep careerzynith at the forefront of the industry.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Strong SQL expertise with the ability to craft efficient queries across diverse data sources.
  • Hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, Hive, Impala, PySpark) for data processing at scale.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and either Java or Scala.
  • Demonstrated experience with at least one major MPP or cloud data warehouse technology (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and streaming platforms such as Apache Flink or Kafka.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing best practices, and dimensional design.
  • Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with AWS services (S3, EMR, EC2, Lambda) and cloud‑native data pipelines.
