Job Description: SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructors to teach primarily online composition classes in the English Department for Fall 2026. Candidates should have experience teaching first-year composition courses at the college level and be familiar with current writing theory and practice. They should have a demonstrated interest and ability in the use of alternative and innovative teaching methods and familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom. • A Master's degree in English or in rhetoric or composition or in a closely related field is required.
• Online teaching experience is required, preferably at the community college level.
