Procure-to-Pay Lead Analyst - Express Scripts - Hybrid

About the position This The Procure to Pay Lead Analyst will maintain adequate inventory levels needed to meet service level needs and contractual requirements. This position develops competence by performing structured work assignments; interprets existing procedures to solve standard problems with instruction, guidance and direction from others. Proficiency requires exercising independent judgment and critical thinking within the company guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities by reviewing historical demand and analyzing inventory levels.
  • Work with pharmacy operations to establish product/service requirements.
  • Order pharmaceuticals for the pharmacy based off medication inventory requirements.
  • Maintain and verify medication inventory controls are at a level to meet customer demands.
  • Assist the call center management with customer issues and communications when medication are out of stock.
  • Work with internal customers to understand trends; identify opportunities to optimize inventory & service levels; ensure medication out of stocks are minimized; assist in root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Communicate with all levels of management and both internal and external customer base and possess solid follow through skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines
  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); email.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage supplier relations and overall understanding of contracts and the contracting process.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers and suppliers in a professional and ethical manner.
  • If the candidate is located in MO fingerprint clearance/state background check is required.

  • For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 63,800 - 106,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
  • This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
