Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full lifecycle of agricultural technology projects, from concept and design to implementation and post-launch support. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with R&D, engineering, and business development teams. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate project activities with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware specialists, agronomists, and field technicians. Ensure successful integration of hardware, software, and data analytics components in AgTech solutions. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions to keep projects on track. Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Manage vendor relationships and ensure the quality and timely delivery of project components. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in agricultural technology and precision farming. Prepare and present project status reports, performance metrics, and recommendations to management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a strong preference for experience in the AgTech or agricultural industry. Proven ability to manage complex technical projects involving hardware, software, and data integration. Understanding of agricultural operations, precision farming techniques, and data management in agriculture. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and methodologies. Experience working in a hybrid or remote team environment is beneficial. Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts related to sensors, IoT, data analytics, and automation in agriculture. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
