Core Responsibilities – What Your Day Will Look Like As an ABA/Autism Therapist, you will be the primary point of contact for each child and family, translating treatment plans into meaningful, real‑world learning experiences. Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver Personalized ABA Sessions: Conduct one‑on‑one, in‑home therapy sessions that follow the individualized program designed by a supervising BCBA. Implement discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and behavior support strategies to teach functional skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately record behavior and skill acquisition data during each session using digital tools or paper forms. Summarize data for weekly BCBA review, ensuring fidelity to the treatment plan and informing data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with Supervision Team: Maintain regular communication with your assigned BCBA supervisor, discussing progress, challenges, and any needed adjustments to the intervention plan.
  • Family Engagement and Coaching: Provide clear, compassionate feedback to parents and caregivers, offering strategies for generalization of skills across settings and reinforcing consistency at home.
  • Professional Integrity: Arrive promptly for each scheduled session, prepared with necessary materials, and adhere to all ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Continuous Skill Development: Participate in weekly training webinars, case study reviews, and optional workshops to stay current with emerging ABA practices and evidence‑based interventions.
  • Physical Demands Management: Safely engage in activities that may require lifting up to 35 lbs, kneeling, squatting, or moving quickly within a 100‑foot radius to respond to child behaviors.

Essential Qualifications – The Foundations of Success We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for helping children on the autism spectrum and possess the following core qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent). While a bachelor’s degree is not required, candidates with higher education in psychology, special education, or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1)
