[Remote] Account Manager- Federal Navy Sales East

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Panasonic Connect North America is seeking an Account Manager for their Navy West Business. The role involves maintaining and growing market share of Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions and Services to Navy and Marine Corps customers, requiring strong customer relationships and strategic opportunity identification.

Responsibilities

  • Interface and directly call on end-users / customers to create and drive Panasonic Connect Mobility products and services adoption
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly & annual territory quota for product and services along with achieving strategic goals / targets as assigned by sales management. Actively manage your sales pipeline in CRM, ensuring consistent opportunity progression, and accurate forecasting
  • Capture all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM ensuring effective territory and account management
  • Work with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to produce year over year assigned growth targets
  • When applicable, work with Navy and Marine Corps Standards and Procurement Agencies to ensure Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions are included and product information is up to date
  • Traveling for in-person client meetings, building relationships with key decision-makers, program managers, contracting officers, and end users across Navy and Marine Corps customers. As well as industry events, trade shows, customer conferences, and internal meetings

Skills

  • Experience (2-5 years) selling technology products and services, preferably to Navy and Marine Corps customers
  • Proven success managing reseller and end-user relationships
  • Understanding of pipeline management discipline and ability to explain benefits to partner management / sales teams
  • Able to navigate informal structures and collaborate with internal resources to accomplish company goals
  • Proven track record of navigating all levels of end-user accounts and reseller partners and driving tangible revenue with focus on year over year sales growth
  • Good overall communication skills
  • Ability to present to large groups and create presentation content
  • Experience working with executive c level customer contacts
  • Must be geographically located in the San Diego area
  • Travel is required 75%
  • College degree preferred or relevant job-related experience
