[Remote] AI-Native Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDR, Inc. is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer for a remote opportunity with one of their top clients. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining features that leverage AI and machine learning technologies, with an emphasis on full-stack development and AI-assisted tools.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining AI and full-stack features using modern software engineering practices
- Collaborate within an agentic engineering model where AI participates directly in the SDLC alongside human engineers
- Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshooting, and deploying scalable AI solutions
- Engage with AI frameworks, APIs, and tools such as LLMs, vector stores, and prompt engineering
- Work within cloud environments including Azure, utilizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
Skills
- Deep experience with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and C# for enterprise backends
- Knowledge of LLM APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Azure OpenAI, and experience with prompt engineering
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen, and vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), AI services, and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ability to implement secure, scalable AI solutions in enterprise environments with a focus on observability and compliance
