[Remote] Maintenance Technician - New Albany, IN & Evansville, IN

Circle K is a leading convenience store retailer, and they are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and maintain a safe work environment. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment while contributing to team efforts and improving technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining related equipment; provides preventive maintenance
- Facilitates repairs as required
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Test new equipment as directed
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
- Have some computer knowledge to email, and use forms that are computer related to Circle K
- Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines
Skills
- High school diploma or GED. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable as a driver
- Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- 3-5 years' experience of maintenance construction field or more preferred
- Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required
