Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking an AnyLogic Engineer to design and develop complex simulation models. The role involves building models to simulate business processes and analyzing outputs to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex simulation models using AnyLogic (Agent-Based, Discrete Event, and System Dynamics)
• Build models to simulate real-world business processes, supply chains, logistics networks, and operational workflows
• Validate and verify simulation models against real data and business scenarios
• Optimize existing models for performance and accuracy
• Analyze simulation outputs and translate results into actionable business insights
• Conduct what-if scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis
• Present findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities through simulation

Skills

• AnyLogic experience with 4+ years exp and relevant at least 1.5 years exp
• Hands-on AnyLogic builder — not just theoretical knowledge
• Comfortable writing Java code inside AnyLogic
• Can translate a business problem into a simulation model
