Sappi North America is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Bookkeeper to join our financial team based in Boston, Massachusetts. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while playing a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Reconcile bank statements and promptly resolve discrepancies. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support planning efforts. Process payroll ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and project support. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies. Required and Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent. Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or related accounting roles. Certification in bookkeeping or a related field is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
