They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth through innovative partnerships and market expansion initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive top line growth, profitability, retention with existing partners and new agency appointments
• Travel extensively throughout NY, NJ & CT to meet with prospective and current agents, delivering product training, marketing support, and relationship management
• Identify high-potential agencies aligned with Vault’s high-net-worth market and onboard them through a consultative sales approach
• Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and service teams to ensure seamless agent and client experience
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and agency performance to inform strategic decisions
• Represent Vault at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or agency management within the P&C insurance industry, preferably in the high-net-worth segment
• Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and distribution channels
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with independent agents and brokers
• Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role with frequent travel
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
